Whether it’s wanting the freedom to pickup and leave on opportunities to travel, or to simply be self-sufficient in generating income as you are present for the people in your life, it’s possible that The Laptop Lifestyle is the answer.

There is such a wide range of opportunities when it comes to deciding on this lifestyle. While yes, some of the opportunities are “easier” than others and maybe require less of a formal education to obtain paid positions, it’s just not that simple. The most important thing to remember is unless you are creating PASSIVE INCOME, and even then it would still be the better decision to stay up to date on industry information, you should always be making sure to take opportunities to learn & grow. Educating yourself and searching for those opportunities will be your biggest asset in finding success in this industry. The biggest reason The Laptop Lifestyle seems unattainable is because so many people jump in thinking it’s going to be some get rich quick and easy with no work and travel and la di da with their life, while doing nothing. Only seeing those that live it, enjoying life by the beach or traveling or wherever, but not the hours they spend behind the computer doing the jobs and opportunities that paid for those things. The thing is, yeah, once you have something to sell and set up automations through the process things become streamlined and easIER. But they aren’t just handed to you with no work behind the rewards.

The magic happens when you set up those systems and take the opportunities that are presented to you. Being an Entrepreneur, especially Creative Entrepreneurs, have so many opportunities to grow their income streams but are too often stuck on ruminating thoughts and overplanning with no action. We’ve ALL been there. In fact I have found myself there multiple times over the last decade. Planning for everything to be perfect, only for something to come up in life, and not end up getting to my *thing*.

You can be an Artist, who just wants to make their art and have people enjoy it. You CAN BE AN ARTIST, who just wants to MAKE THEIR ART, and have people ENJOY IT. You’re allowed to do that, we need more artists and creative souls that lead the way to seeing and creating more beauty in this world instead of being stuck stuck stuck. So many of us just feel stuck. The things you make are good enough to share, great enough even that people will want to buy them. Your ideas are great and will spark something in others and maybe you’ll never be able to find that out, actually. But your work is important and deserving to exist in this world. Especially if it exists in your head. Especially if its going to help people. Especially if it helps you.

The Laptop Lifestyle is about being able to generate income streams online. Preferably but not limited to the areas and things you absolutely LOVE + thoroughly enjoy.

This is something everlasting and infinite in possibilities is a wide open door for families, and anyone that wants to get out of the rat race of having to use your time to commute and make money for other people than you do for yourself. Especially if you find yourself with chronic illness and other medical situations that keep you unable for whatever reason (usually appointments & illness/injury) to hold down a “regular job”, we still deserve opportunities to use our skills to help others and earn an income. It doesn’t matter what you do with your time and your life, the thing is you’re able to choose whatever it is you WANT to spend your time and your life doing instead of being dedicated to one place for the next 20 years being a “good employee”.

The thing is, The Laptop Lifestyle is something YOU choose… maybe sometimes it will choose you. BUT it will never be done and laid out for you, or handed to you on a silver platter, or grow like a money tree. This is something YOU have to make the decision every day to work towards and one day, you reap the fruits of your labor.
